cleanse..?

i really want to take colon cleansing products to clean out my colon becuz i feel VERY bloated all the time. I eat alot of protein and i think its not being digested properly. Ive heard good and bad things about colon cleansing products, but my bloating is coming to a point now where it hurts. The colon cleansing sysytem should clean everything out, and get rid of the bloat. Why do colon cleaninsing products get such a bad reputation?
PS- i cant cut down on protein(personal reasons).

Another thing, are you consuming animal protein? If yes, than try vegetable protein for a week or to such like: lentils, beans, chickpeas (garbanzo bean), nuts (specially almonds which are milder protein) and dark green leaves (this are rich in protein). I will suggest that you soak them over nigh (except the green leaves) and wash them in the morning, to awaken the enzymes and two wash away the nitrogen (that concentrates in high quantity when the beans and nuts are put to dry, nitrogen can cause bloating and pain in the joints specially if you have arthritis).
Enzymes are only present in raw foods, not in cooked food. So by soaking them, their will become “alive”. When you eat only cooked food your body has to produce enzymes and after a while it can get tired and not process foods well, causing bloating and gases.
Every raw fruit and vegetable has it’s own enzyme to be properly digested. But even if you soak and cook your beans, it will be easier to digest than if you cook it dry without prior soaking.
